Hi friends! 🙂 I hope you are doing well as summer quickly approaches us! We’ve definitely been bit by the spring cleaning bug, and have been decluttering, moving junk + keeping the essential as we move forward into the final phase of our home renovation!!! #longtimecoming #4yearsandcounting
Anyway, as some of you may know, in addition to nutrition + CrossFit coaching, I am also a high school senior portrait photographer. During my time as a Group Leader on the teaching team for the NTA‘s Austin Class, I have had several discussions with some of you around portraits, camera equipment, lighting + food styling.
Wellllll….. you get to pick my brain even further because, I am so excited to announce that I am going to host a little half-day Photo 101 + Food Styling Workshop in Austin!
This workshop will be a great way to help you use + better understand natural light and the photography equipment you may already have (even your iPhone!) so don’t worry, no fancy cameras are required. It also will be a great asset for you to learn how to beautifully style, photograph + promote the nutritious food we all get so excited about when talking with clients! 🙂
Psst! If you aren’t an NTP, but have a deep appreciation for good food, community + photography, please join us!
Also–because I love photographing people, I will be taking a few new headshots for each of the attendees to help set you up for business! #fakeittillyoumakeit #amiright
In the class we will cover:
- Understanding the Elements of Photography
- Work with What Ya Got: Camera Gear
- Food Styling Tips + Tricks
- Using iPhone + Instagram
- Hands-on Application in Break-out Groups
- Headshots by Yours Truly
- Nibbles + Treats to enjoy while you learn!
Get ready to Parrrrtyyy!!
Space will be limited, so lock in your spot ASAP!
Once registered, you will receive an email prior to the workshop giving the exact details on how the location (it’s a private home address, so I don’t want to blast it across the interwebs), details + tips on what to wear for your head-shots, and what to bring with you to help make it the best learning experience!
If you have any questions, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Can’t wait to see you in class!
