and now… A Little Birthday Recap!
I can definitely say 29 is off to a great start! We had a weekend of fun, from brunch at my favorite little restaurant called Picnik, to paddle boarding on the lake, to wrapping up the evening with football, good drinks, and great friends.
I am so grateful for the people who have come into my life and surround us here in Austin. It’s pretty amazing to look back and see how things aligned years before we ever knew we’d move here, and that we’d have a wonderful community of friends around us as soon as we showed up. My heart felt so much joy last night sharing laughs, football cheers + rants, bad aim in yard games, and one too many slices of gluten-free cake.
I love this place. I love these people. I love this life. Queue little girl pep-talking herself in the mirror.
What a journey it has been, these 29 years.
Lots of lessons + heartache.
But so much joy + love beyond what I deserve.
