“Is Butter A Carb?”: Aesthetics, Gainz + Other Concerns as a Female Athlete

Hi friends! It’s been awhile. I apologize for my absence! No excuses, I’ve just put the blog on the back-burner as I try to manage the 238497283749 million other things that I somehow decided were a good idea to take on all at once. Oy!

One day I will be consistent. Scouts honor. Cross my heart. Pinky promise. No take backs.

For now, just hang tight with the sporadic posting (or lack there of) until I can actually get my ish together.

Lots of exciting things going on over here! One of them being the awesome privilege of writing a guest post today for my girl Kristin over at The Girl With Butter!

TGWTBKristin is a fellow NTP friend who I’ve connected with over Instagram (oh, interwebs, thank you for bringing us together!) and let’s just say we get each other.

She approached me awhile back after noticing my focus on a whole foods approach to the world of “Flexible Dieting” or as others know it to be “If It Fits Your Macros” (IIFYM).

Hop on over to her site to read about my journey from a “Puffy Paleo Person” to getting a handle on macro-tracking.

Follow her on Instagram + Twitter @thegirlwithbutter and be sure to “like” her facebook page, too! Not only should you share her some social media love, but it’s her birthday today!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KRISTIN!

Kristin is a food lover, nutrition junkie, amateur kitchen ninja, and elite intermediate CrossFitter.  She shares real food that tastes delicious and tips to get healthy naturally and perform optimally by working with your body: never against it. She can be brash, and swears a lot, but everything at TheGirlWithTheButter.com is made with love to help you be your best self.
